Chewing Gum Hand

😁I know most of you, if not all of you actually were wondering which one is chewing gum hand.

Well read on and you will find out.

One thing I've noticed today in my environment is that the world has changed the concept of the act of GIVING, people nowadays either give just to attract attention, for an aim(like politics, to get fans, etc),as a favour and the one that pains me the most are those who give to belittle others.

To me giving is not an investment neither is it a show for fandom or popularity. You don't give expecting to receive, you give believing that you have received.

Yes alot of you are confused by this statement.

To me if you give expecting you will be paid back by God or the person who receives your gifts then, you have completely changed the concept of giving. You give knowing that as you give you have received. You  give knowing that you have been rewarded already by your God in heaven.

I don't know if I'm the only one that when I give I am happy ,I am happy because I know that I just signed my name into the receivers heart, I give with the joy of seeing the smile on someone's face.

Giving does not necessarily mean money , food , items alone no no no, giving can be helping others by sparing your time , you can give your knowledge by teaching, you can give your talents by singing and etc.

Personally anytime I pray to God for money or something what I do is I give out my last card to someone who needs it, Help people in need of my time , talents or skill. When I do this I don't expect a return I know I have already received and with time God blesses me in his own way.

Another aspect is DO NOT GIVE WITH A PAINED HEART OR WITH A RELUCTANT HEART!

Its not counted as giving and if you don't have and you have that willingness in your heart to give , you have given.

 2corrinthians 9:6-8

remember this; whoever sows sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion for God loves a cheerful giver.

There are a lot of Bible and Koran verses and chapters on charity but I wouldn't want to make the write up too long.

And sometimes some people ask "why would i give a beggar my last card?"

Well the questions I ask myself when it comes to giving to those in need is , "this money now I am with who needs it, more me or the beggar?" I want you to answer that question yourself.

Now I believe I've been able to make you understand what the chewing gum hand meant.

Cus the truth is you can't receive without opening your hands to give.

The next article will be on Thanksgiving and gratitude.

  4. Don't give to receive, give with the knowledge and understanding that you are (already) blessed—all things are yours. (1 Corinthians 3:21, Ephesians 1:3, 2 Peter 1:3)

  5. Indeed it is more blessed to give than to receive. Amazing piece right here.
