THE MAGICAL MINDSET

πŸ‘‹well, it's been long.

I've been busy with school activities, but at the moment everything has been settled.

THE MAGICAL MINDSET

Most of you if not all, are wondering how exactly I came up with this title.

I believe we all sang this in our kindergarten class or primary school days.

THERE'RE FIVE MAGIC WORDS

THERE'RE FIVE MAGIC WORDS THAT I KNOW

PLEASE, EXCUSE ME, SORRY, THANK YOU

AND THE LAST ONE

PARDON ME.

So I would focus on the "THANK YOU" which can in a way be classified as Gratitude.

I would love to  start with a quote;

               "Wherever you are today is another person's prayer point".

You might be an undergraduate doing a course that's not your first choice but there's someone out there who has not even been able to secure an admission, some got the course of their choice but cant afford to pay the fees, you might be a worker that has not been promoted for years but there's someone out there still unemployed, you might be living in a "face me I face you" flat but there's someone living under the bridge. I can give a lot of instances on this, but I am sure I have been able to pass my point across. There are several stories on gratitude in the bible.

 Example Luke 17:11-19(The story of the ten leapers)

2nd chronicles 20{Jehoshaphat}

Daniel 6

I  came across a story in a blog. [A Short Lesson On Gratitude by Nick Ortner{the tapping solution}]

A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. He held up a sign which read, “I am blind, please help me.”

There were only a few coins in the hat – spare change from folks as they hurried past. A man was walking by. He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat. He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words. Then he put the sign back in the boy’s hand so that everyone who walked by would see the new words.

Soon the hat began to fill up. A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy. That afternoon, the man who had changed the sign returned to see how things were. The boy recognized his footsteps and asked, “Were you the one who changed my sign this morning? What did you write?”

The man said, “I only wrote the truth. I said what you said but in a different way.” I wrote, “Today is a beautiful day, but I cannot see it.” Both signs spoke the truth. But the first sign simply said the boy was blind, while the second sign conveyed to everyone walking by how grateful they should be to see.

18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Gratitude cannot only be expressed by saying thank you. there are other ways which include actions, promises , devotion and many more. An example is the story of Hannah in first Samuel.

I hope we cultivate the spirit of gratitude, because it's a really great privilege to find ourselves wherever we are today..

I dont want to make the write up longer than it should be.

anticipate the next write up, share , feel free to comment  and dont forget to subscribe.

THANK YOU
