Everyone's spec🔥🌞🌞

I'm sure I've kept you all waiting for quite some time, and I apologize. I just finished my exams last week.

To celebrate International Women's Day, I decided to write about "women." I asked some of my friends to define a woman for me, and here are some of their responses.

"I can't seem to come up with a specific definition or description for a woman. According to the Bible, a woman is a helpmeet/mate. A woman is an advocate, a teacher, a lover, a support system, a best friend, a mentor, a warrior, a leader, to mention a few. Basically, nothing exists in this world without a woman in it – a home, a society, a community, a life, etc." - Fasipe Tofunmi 

"As we celebrate International Women's Day, I want to share a few thoughts about women. Who is a woman? In today's world, we talk about who is a woman? People have different definitions of women, but I think of them as strong-willed individuals who are willing to do anything to protect, care for, and provide for their loved ones, despite the obvious lack of muscular and physical strength compared to men. What a woman can do for her loved ones, despite these minor capabilities, sometimes amazes me." - Peretiemo Clarke Tamaralayefa

So far, everyone has defined the term "woman" from their different perspectives, and they are all correct. Now, who is a  woman ? I believe women are the catalyst for 80% of every successful or groundbreaking achievement.

Let's not forget there was a time when women did not have the right to speak, own their own businesses, or have an opinion, among many other things. But they pushed through against all odds. Now, not only do they have the right to these things, but they have also proven that the world had been keeping the best thing that could have ever happened to it.

Women are the backbone of a family. God created the woman not just because Adam was bored but because Adam needed a backbone, a helper.

Have you ever asked, "Why did God not create another man if Adam was bored or needed a helping hand?" Why a woman? Surprised, right?

 Well, we can see why. I don't need to stress you on that because you can't have two men in a family. It doesn't sound right. Who will be the mother to the children? Who will sacrifice her wants and her needs to make the family happy? Who will labor day and night to secure the future? Who will be the sister to the brothers? The aunt to the children? And most importantly, the wife to the husband?

I believe it's time for women to stop fighting to be equal but to fight to stand out, to prove that they are unique and do not need a man to tell them who they are, what they can do, or what they should do. I want to put it out there for you, and it's a fact: Women can play the roles of both genders, we see that a lot Sincerely speaking.

As we celebrate this day, International Women's Day, I want to remind all of us out there, from the young girls, teens, and youths growing to be mothers, to the women aiming to be great and accomplished, and to the men around them, to have faith, give them hope, and pray that God strengthens and empowers them.
